Vita

At about the age of ten - that was in 1991 - I was infected by electronic music virus.
It started with music like 2Unlimited, Snap, Felix, Usura and from the point in 1992 when my Dad bought me "Intrance feat. D-Sign's" killer tune "Te Quierro" somehow I knew that this music will be the real big love in my life. Even though many people were saying things like "Soon nobody won't listen to that music anymore...".

During these first years I was only a consumer who bought loads of CDs(!) - which of course were used during some funny partys (Does anybody of my old friends remember "Konfuzius" :)).

In 1994 I made friends with some young DJs and I got more and more interested in spinning but it took me until summer 1996 before I bought my first Turntable (a Gemini XL-DD50 IV - and I'm still using this one at home) and until christmas 1996 when I got my first mixer and so I started practising with this equipment together with an old "Dual" Turntable. Until 1999 I was playing at some smaller parties when I heard rumours of a new club opening in our area in fall 1999. A few weeks later I was sitting together with the boss of the new club (NightWork)because I applied for a DJ job. Unfortunately he told me that he received more than 100 applications for the DJ-Jobs and that they already booked some locally well known DJs from Frankfurt, Wuerzburg and Aschaffenburg.

But he told me as well that they are still looking for some Light-Jockeys - and that was one of the best decissions I've ever taken in my whole life - and I said "YES" to that offer.

During the following months I learnded a lot about light (They booked the German Light-Jockey Champions of 1998 and 1999 to teach us LJ-Newbies) and met many good DJs who teached me as well a lot about professional DJing.

Unfortunately the club was forced to close after a few months in spring 2000 - typical case of wrong calculations...
In September the club reopened under a new management with a new name ("Nachtleben") but the management of this club was even worse than the old one and so the owner of the buildiung installed a new management. Under their management I started again as a LJ but pretty soon one of the mangagers gave me the oppurtunity to play every friday night from 2.00 am until the end.

In summer 2001 they closed the club for some renovations and gave the club a new name ("Tanzwerk") where I was allowed to play the whole friday night.

Some of the DJs I played together with:
  • Pascal F.E.O.S
  • Mike S.
  • Miss Thunderpussy
  • Sascha Richter
  • Mike Staab
  • Wag
  • Jay Kay
  • ...
